The Somerset Stairlifts & Mobility – Elegance – Single Rail – Curved Stairlift

One of a range of curved stairlifts available from Somerset Stairlifts & Mobility. The design of the Elegance allows it to be fitted directly to your staircase – there is no messy building work, dust or debris. After an initial home survey a rail id profiled and shaped to suit the shape of your staircase exactly. Once installed the stairlift takes up very little space – both seat and arms fold away neatly to allow others to pass by and use the staircase independently.

• Single tube stairlift system suits most staircases with bends or corners.
• Offers all the basic stairlift functions, plus the option to upgrade to a powered swivel and/or the fold up footplate linked to the seat.
• Choice of three leather look padded upholstery colours (visit our showroom and look through our material swatches).
• There is a choice of three standard track colours.
• The Stairlift is designed with battery backup. The stairlift will continue to work in the event of a power cut.
• Bespoke track designed to fit the individual staircase and maximize clear space on the stairway.
• Optional Hinged track, (the world’s smallest), to avoid obstructing doorways close to the bottom of the stairs.
• The stairlift is fitted directly onto the stairs, so no need to redecorate following the installation.
• Supplied with two remote controls. Once folded, the unit can be sent to the upstairs charge point freeing up space in the hallway and stairs.
• Safety sensors stop the stairlift if it meets any obstacle on the stairs.
• Seat belts fitted as standard.
• Easy to use joystick control moves the lift smoothly up or down the stairs.
