Handicare Freecurve Curved Stairlift – Single track

One of a range of curved stairlifts available from Somerset Stairlifts & Mobility. The Handicare Freecurve provides a multitude of innovative features to ensure your stairlift is tailor-made just for you.

Custom built to fit your staircase, this unique, single track design is available in a variety of colors to match your home and décor. Coupled with two seat styles, your comfort and safety remain priority.

The Freecurve can overcome many architectural obstacles, allowing it to be installed in tighter spaces. For example, the Turn and Go feature will swivel your seat as you are riding the lift to ensure your knees don’t hit the opposite handrail on narrow staircases. The drop nose and powered hinge minimize any track obstructions to a minimum.

Folding up your stairlift – When your stairlift is not being used the footplate, armrests and seat can be folded up leaving the staircase as clear as possible for other users.

Calling your stairlift – the Freecurve comes with two remote controls as standard, so you can have one upstairs and one downstairs. This means you can send your stairlift up and down the track without having to sit on it. This not only allows you to park at the top or bottom of the stairs, it is ideal for multi-user situations as your stairlift can be called between levels.

There is a choice of seats:

All of our stairlifts have safety sensors on the power pack and footplate; these are designed to stop the lift if it meets any obstruction. Once stopped it can only be moved away from the obstruction. Your stairlift also comes with a seat belt as standard for additional peace of mind. All our stairlifts have an easily accessible key switch that allows you to disable the lift and prevent unauthorized use, so no need to worry about unsupervised children playing with your stairlift.

If you have a doorway or obstruction close to the base of your stairs you may need a powered hinged rail. With the powered hinge, the track can be folded away from the doorway giving clear access.
